Brewery visit

Take a look behind the scenes of Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck during a brewery visit. Together with the guide you will discover every corner of the most modern brewery in Europe. Through videos and headsets available in five languages, you will learn everything about the Belgian family brewery in Izegem. From the brewing hall and the bottling plant to the brand new canning line: you will be amazed! The brewery visit ends with a tasting of Kasteel beer and Filou.

What is included in the visit?

  • A tour (1.5 hours) with a professional guide
  • A look behind the scenes through multimedia videos
  • Tasting of two beers (2*25cl)
  • A lovely gift after your visit: a bottle of specialty beer (75 cl)
  • Tasting of a beer praline at the Beer Boutique
  • Free parking in our spacious car park

Good to know:

  • We provide tailor-made brewery tours for wheelchair users. A wheelchair accessible guided tour can only be booked by mail (info@bierkasteel.be) or by telephone on (051 62 27 30). Unfortunately, we do not accept online bookings.
  • If desired, you can combine the guided tour with a meal in Michelle’s Pub & Brasserie (max. 12 people). If you want to reserve a table for more than 12 people, Please contact us via email (info@bierkasteel.be) or by phone (051 62 27 30).

Good to know:

  • Would you like to visit Bierkasteel as a company, an association or a group of 20 people or more? Please contact us via info@bierkasteel.be.
  • The Bierkasteel is not open for visitors on Sundays and public holidays.
  • The bottling plant operates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • The brewery visit starts at the Beer Boutique. Please report to reception 15 minutes before (between the two sets of stairs at the main entrance).
