Xavier Vanhonsebrouck receives ‘Officer of the Order of the Crown’ honour

On the eve of the 21 July bank holiday, the King of Belgium awards honorary distinctions to deserving compatriots. This year, our very own Xavier Vanhonsebrouck was one of the recipients.

Our CEO received the title of ‘Officier van de Kroonorde’ (EN: ‘Officer of the Crown’) for his proven services to the world of business. This award – with accompanying medal – is on proud display in our brewery reception area.

National Orders

Belgium has three National Orders, each awarding the title of knight, officer, commander or grand officer. The Crown Order rewards compatriots for artistic, literary and scientific merits, while also honoring compatriots who promote the commercial and industrial interests of our country.
