Complaints or returns

Complaints or returns are only valid when made within 20 days after delivery or invoicing.

Deposit, return and payment of empty packaging

The usual deposit is charged for return packaging such as bottles, crates and barrels. Three months after delivery or upon final settlement, the packaging not refunded or not taken back will be definitively charged for, at the replacement price that is applicable at that time.

Retention of title

The goods remain the property of the seller until the principal amount,the interest due as well as any penalties have been settled in full.

Payment

All purchases, deliveries or services are, unless otherwise stated, payable in cash in Izegem. In the event of a late payment (i.e. 30 days after the due date), a default interest of 1% per month is due by law, starting from the due date, without the need for a notice of default. In the event of unwarranted  or unjustified late payment or non-payment, following notice of default, an increase of 15% on the principal amount will automatically become due, with a minimum of €100 and a maximum of €2500.

Jurisdiction in case of disputes

In case of disputes, only the courts of the judicial district of the registered office of Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck (Courtrai, West Flanders, Belgium) have jurisdiction and only Belgian law is applicable.
