Kasteel Brewery Vanhonsebrouck is expanding its range of strong, fruit beers with Kasteel Tropical (7%), a brand-new speciality beer brewed with tropical fruit. For this latest beer sensation, the family brewery has filled its brewing kettles with mango, passion fruit, peach and pineapple. Ready for a taste sensation like no other?

Exuberant, intense and playful – that’s how the family brewery from Izegem describes the new Kasteel beer. Kasteel Tropical combines the flavours of fresh tropical fruit with traditional Kasteel quality. The result is a fresh specialty beer with a tropical flavour profile.

Tropical fruit

Kasteel Tropical is brewed with tropical fruit and has high concentrations of mango, passion fruit, peach and pineapple. You can see, smell and taste it! Pouring the beer fills the glass with a vibrant yellow and its fresh passion fruit scent will strike you immediately.

From the first sip, you’ll enjoy intense tropical flavours – with a slightly sweet touch of pineapple along with full flavours of mango and peach that are perfectly balanced with the fresh acidity of passion fruit. The tropical flavours linger subtly in the dry, slightly bitter after-taste.

Hidden paradise

Tropical character is also front and centre in the beer’s branding. (Alternatively: The beer’s tropical character is reflected in the design.) The familiar Castle logo makes its way through a jungle, where fruits like passion fruit and pineapple grow in abundance. The colour palette includes yellow, indigo, magenta and emerald green. Each of the tropical colours helps transport you to a hidden paradise where it’s all about escaping the daily grind and relaxing.

With this new tropical taste experience, Vanhonsebrouck Kasteel Brewery once again confirms its status as a pioneer in strong, fruit beers. Kasteel Tropical is – along with Kasteel Rouge and Kasteel Rubus Framboise – the third strong, fruit beer within the Kasteel beer brand. And because the family brewery is looking to increase its presence in the non-alcoholic beer segment, Kasteel Tropical is also set to be joined by Kasteel Tropical 0.0%.

Kasteel Tropical comes in kegs, bottles and cans, and will soon be available in pubs, bars and restaurants and at major retailers.
