Meeting rooms We have two state-of-the-art company meeting rooms, each of which can be used either separately or together. Both rooms come equipped with a professional sound system, Bose microphone and digital connectivity. The centrepiece? A private bar serving Kasteel and Filou beers, among others. Wines and non-alcoholic options are also available.

The Ballroom Our Ballroom offers that ‘wow-factor’, with its stunning chandeliers, high glass windows and impressive copper-decor bar. We combine these authentic features with a high-tech sound system, along with a complete lighting rig that works fully automatically to the music. Expand the Ballroom’s capacity with the adjoining Michelles Pub & Brasserie.

VIP Room The VIP Room boasts the cosy atmosphere of the best old school Belgian bar. From the bar flooring to the tables and chairs, the use of different types of wood creates a warm decor that you are free to decorate as you wish. Within this authentic setting, there is also room for background music, along with the necessary equipment to give a rousing speech.

Ideal for small, low key events
Michelles Pub & Brasserie An impressive tap wall, an imposing fireplace, a stained-glass window adorning the ceiling and a well-stocked bookshelf – Michelles Pub & Brasserie feels like a home from home. Depending on the type of event, it can accommodate up to 120 guests. This event space is available on Saturdays and Sundays, and can be used in combination with the Ballroom for larger-scale events.

Foeder hall A room filled with small, large, even gigantic beer barrels! If that’s not a memorable setting, what is? In the Foeder Hall, you’ll find yourself fully immersed in the craft of brewing. Wow your audiences with company or product presentations as the specialty beer matures in the oak barrels around you. The theatre set-up can accommodate up to 150 guests.

The Courtyard Like all great castles, the Bierkasteel boasts a beautiful 715 m² courtyard, leading to both Michelle’s Pub & Brasserie and the VIP Room. In good weather, it can be used for receptions, or perhaps a relaxed outdoor buffet.

What to expect?

  • Free parking

    Your guests won’t need to drive in circles trying to find a parking space, with our free car park accommodating up to 170 vehicles.

  • Charging stations

    In our car park, you will find charging stations for hybrids or electric vehicles. Good to know: we also have Tesla charging stations.

  • Stage and lectern

    Make use of our 6 m² stage, or give a presentation with notes at hand thanks to our specially-designed lectern.

  • Brewery visit

    Combine your event with a brewery visit and, together with your guests, take a look behind the scenes of Europe’s most modern brewery.

  • Food and drink

    Depending on your event, we provide – in addition to a reception, buffet or sit-down dinner – drinks, breakfast and/or coffee breaks.

  • Location

    The Bierkasteel is located in the heart of West Flanders, a mere five-minute drive from the Izegem exit of the E403 motorway.
